A Word To Our Subscribers.

Today, I will begin to say this: for a long time, people have been subscribed to my site. Some have been subscribed to since 2015 or 2017. It turns out that, aside from a few likes and comments in the distant past, there hasn’t been a single subscriber who has shown any interest in what we’ve been writing.

Furthermore, the number of visitors who have actually taken the time to read just one of the articles on my site is downright disappointing: one [1] visitor daily [weekly, or even monthly]; sometimes two or six [to give just one example.

The ‘highlights’ – if you can even call them highlights – have so far been only two [2] or just three times twenty [20] visitors.

Furthermore, some individuals have received numerous emails about my articles here after I’ve published them. What was the result? 0 clicks; they hadn’t even bothered to open them, let alone read them!

Furthermore, it also turns out that your interests are entirely different from mine; some subscribers are involved in cooking and baking, preparing recipes, while others have winemaking or travel as hobbies.

That’s all well and good, but my question to you is [if you even bother to read this]: since you weren’t interested in anything I wrote, what are you still doing here? Due to their lack of interest, I decided some time ago to remove three subscribers from my list; I haven’t seen them since. Just yesterday, I decided to dismiss four more.

If this trend continues, I’ll likely have to settle for just two or four subscribers. While I sincerely hope it doesn’t come to that, I still have bleak expectations…
