Here we have a short clip describing how Christianity has been infiltrated and taken over by Jewish Zionists. We also have the Christian Zionist mantra again, “Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed by God, and whoever curses it will be cursed by God.” In connection with this, we turn to the Dutch Christian Zionist monthly magazine “Het Zoeklicht” [Searchlight] no. 7, July 2025. On page 29, we read a brief article by Jef De Vriese, who is also a Christian Zionist. The title: “The Gospel Demands Obedience.” Here is the content:
“Conversion is often reduced to praying a sinner’s prayer, a moment of decision to accept Jesus, a step forward in a meeting, a raising of the hand, a click on a button on a website, with the proposed guarantee of eternal life insurance.”
“The potential convert is affirmed by the idea that through their choice, they will receive eternal life. It is assumed that whoever prays the proper prayer is born again. Others argue that growth toward spiritual maturity typically follows rebirth, but that, regardless of subsequent adherence to Christ, eternal life is nevertheless received and guaranteed. Thus, we hang our assurance on our choice and prayer instead of on God’s revelation in our lives.
The Gospel is also often presented as a set of beliefs that, if properly believed, will lead one into the Kingdom of God. Thus, we hinge our assurance on our theological system. In this view of conversion, it appears that the rebirth God grants is achievable through human will or proclamation. Yet, proclamation is no guarantee of eternal life. [Matthew 7:13-23]”
This refers to Matthew 7:13-23. Before we continue with the article by De Vriese, let’s first read what it says there:
“Enter by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many go in by it. Because narrow is the gate, and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. But beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many wonders in Your Name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who work ungodliness.”
We will now continue with De Vriese’s article and provide our comments on it.
“Jesus’s call to repentance always demands change. After all, the Gospel is that God dwells with people. It is, therefore, about a personal, ongoing relationship that cannot remain without consequence. Faith without obedience is deprived of God’s life force, gives no evidence of knowing God, and is, therefore, not faith.”
Prophesying.
That concludes Jef de Vriese’s article. We will now offer our commentary. The primary focus here is prophesying. ‘Prophesying’ is not merely foretelling the future. It also, and perhaps primarily, relates to preaching, teaching from the Scriptures about what biblical truths are. It doesn’t matter whether this is done from the pulpit or in writing [as, for example, De Vriese’s article].
Now, one of the most important biblical truths is [among other things] that it is the Christian Church that is God’s only chosen one. This has always been the correct biblical belief from the beginning. However, this began to change after the rise of Christian Zionism around the eighteenth century. This teaching led to the Church being replaced by the Jewish people [and later the nation of Israel after its creation in 1948].
Now, moving on to our modern times, it is common knowledge that he vast majority of the Jewish people are outright atheists; they do not believe in God [let alone Christ Jesus]. How can it be, then, that when De Vriese claims that “Faith without obedience is deprived of God’s life force, gives no evidence of knowing God, and is, therefore, not faith”, he doesn’t apply this to the atheistic Jewish people both in Israel and abroad as well? After all, De Vriese is one of those fanatical Christian Zionists who are firmly convinced that these atheistic Jewish people are still God’s chosen people!
Now, looking back on the past two years, many have watched with horror as Israel committed horrific crimes in Gaza. Some even claim that what is currently happening in Gaza constitutes a ‘genocide’! This, in turn, has led to the Jewish nation being hated like a plague by large parts of the world. However, clear and visible that Israel’s enormous crimes may be to everyone, we will not hear a single bad word about them from Christian Zionists [and probably Jef De Vriese as well!] For them – and this has always been their slogan – “Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed by God, and whoever curses Israel will be cursed by God”! Which brings us finally to the Bible verses cited by De Vriese – specifically verses 21-23:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your Name…?” And then, I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who work ungodliness!”
“Yes, but Lord, wasn’t it the will of Your Father in heaven that we should bless Israel at all times? That’s what Your Word, the Bible, has taught us, hasn’t it?
After which, Jesus will show them that they have been teaching a horrible lie all this time, have deceived many others with it as well, and will go with them to eternal punishment, hellfire! For then, Christ Jesus will make it perfectly clear to them that with their racist, pro-Israel doctrines, they have always supported an anti-Christ, murderous Jewish-Zionist state [as the video – presented by Nora Barrows-Friedman – here just above clearly shows!]
It would, therefore, be good for De Vriese to take this into account before thinking he can lecture others!
“Zionism is ANTI-Christian!”
Pastor Adam Finnan explains here just how horrible Zionism itself is, and what the current situation is with Judaism, the nation of Israel, and related matters.
