“But Israel is our most trusted ally.” …Tell that to the families of those aboard the USS Liberty!”
Patrick Buchanan: “That the United States would sit still for anything was brought home to the Israelis long ago, on the third day of the Six-Day War, when Lyndon Johnson ordered a cover-up of an Israeli rocket-and-machine gun attack on the U.S. intelligence ship Liberty off the Sinai, an attack costing the lives of 37 brave American soldiers. When it suits them, our Israeli allies launch air strikes on Tunis, Baghdad, or Beirut; they invade Lebanon; they even enlist U.S. traitors, like the Pollards, to loot the secrets of a nation that has manifested toward them an extraordinary indulgence.”
Ronald G. Kukal: “I am a survivor of the deliberate attack on the USS Liberty, June 8, 1967, during the Six-Day War. I think dual citizenship has a lot to do with the reason that the surviving crew cannot get the U.S. government to look at our “War Crimes Report”. This is an act by the Israeli Defense Force that has never been investigated by Congress. There was a Naval Board of Inquiry, and it found that the attack was an incident. Look at the USS Liberty website. You will find that former Captain Ward Boston, who served as counsel to the board, has stated that he was forced to make the outcome appear to be an incident, and that Robert McNamara and LBJ forced him to do just that. We have not been able to get even a Congressional Investigation into the attack because we are being stopped by those in our government who have dual citizenship. Having a high position in our government and maintaining dual citizenship is wrong, and no one should be allowed to do this if they can’t give their complete loyalty to one country.” Source: Reverend Matt Furse in his book “Who Is Israel?
