Nine people were killed by an Iranian rocket. First of all, every civilian casualty [whether on the Palestinian or Israeli side] is one too many. What Mr. Fleisher seems to have forgotten, however, is the thousands of Palestinians in Gaza who have been brutally murdered by the Israeli army! This proves once again that there are Jews who have no empathy whatsoever for the Palestinians, yet are capable of complaining about some Jews who are victims of Iranian retaliatory measures! And don’t forget: It is the US and Israel that started a war against Iran.

Even today [and we find them not only in the US but also in the Netherlands, where I live, for example], there are Jews who still have absolutely no empathy for the Palestinians. Yet they, too, have seen the countless images of Palestinians brutally murdered by the IDF. So simply stop asking why ‘anti-Semitism’ is rearing its head here and there again! Here is a sad example of that. Here is a sad example of it, and I condemn it completely. Yet this is just one of its consequences. Because the Jewish chauvinism that preceded anti-Semitism is, in fact, the main cause of it. As long as this is not addressed, anti-Semitism will remain.
