The situation in Israel today is so serious due to the massive Iranian rocket attacks that many Israelis have decided to leave. In this connection, we would like to turn to a few verses in the biblical book of Leviticus. There, we read that ancient Israel was not allowed to defile itself with the abominations committed by the Gentile nations. However, should it do so anyway, God would cause the land to spew out the people of Israel as well, just as had happened to those Gentile nations before. [Leviticus 18:24-28] Today, however, in our modern times, this obviously does not apply to present-day Israel regarding the abominations in ancient days. Since many Israelis want to leave the country out of fear of those rocket attacks anyway, however, we see the same principle applied here again: God is now causing the country to spew the current Israelis. After all, they were the ones who rejoiced the loudest in the thousands of Palestinian deaths [primarily innocent children and babies]. However, should the situation in Israel escalate significantly, it is questionable whether there will be any Israelis left…
