On the back of this book by U.S. Senator John W. DeCamp we read the following:
“The shut-down of Omaha, Nebraska’s Franklin Community Federal Credit Union, raided by federal agencies in November 1988, sent shock waves all the way to Washington, D. C. $40 million was missing. The credits union’s manager: Republican Party activist Lawrence E. “Larry” King, Jr., behind whose rise to fame and riches stood powerful figures in Nebraska politics and business, and in the nation’s capital. In the face of opposition from local and state law enforcement, from the FBI, and from the powerful Omaha World-Herald newspaper, a special Franklin committee of the Nebraska Legislature launched its own probe.
What looked like a financial swindle, soon exploded into a hideous tale of drugs, Iran-Contra money-laundering, a nationwide child abuse ring, and ritual murder. Nineteen months later, the legislative committee’s chief investigator died – suddenly, and violently, like more than a dozen other people linked to the Franklin case. Author John DeCamp knows the Franklin scandal from the inside. In 1990, his “DeCamp memo” first publicly named the alleged high-ranking abusers. Today, he is attorney for two of the abuse victims. Using documentation never before mad public, DeCamp lays bare not only the crimes, but the cover-up -a textbook case of how dangerous the corruption of institutions of government, and the press, can be. In its sweep and in what it portends for the nation, the Franklin cover-up followed the ugly precedent of the Warren Commission.”
The first printing of this book was in May, 1992 This second edition was in 1996. When John DeCamp was busy with investigating and exposing this gruesome cover-up of child abuse and satanic ritual murder, former head of the CIA, William Colby (a good friend of Mr. DeCamp), warned him to withdraw from this case:
“What you have to understand, John, is that sometimes there are forces and events too big, too powerful, with so much at stake for other people and institutions, that you cannot do anything about them, no matter how evil or wrong they are and no matter how dedicated or sincere you are or how much evidence you have. That is simply one of the hard facts of life you have to face. You have done your part. You have tried to expose evil and wrongdoing. It has hurt you terribly. But it has not killed you up to this point. I am telling you, get out of this before it does. Sometimes things are just too big for us to deal with, and we have to step aside and let history take its course. For you, John, this is one of those times.” (From the foreword, pages ix-x)
Fortunately, however, DeCamp survived all the smear campaigns and attacks on him. And that’s why he was able to write this book! But might we think that such gruesome cases of child abuse and ritual murder are over now, think again; click on the link below, and watch the video from Greg Reese which was banned.
